BadanEksekutif ini terdiri dari 36 anggota, yang mewakili lima kelompok regional negara anggota di PBB. Negara anggota dipilih oleh Dewan Ekonomi dan Sosial PBB (ECOSOC) berdasarkan rotasi tahunan untuk masa jabatan 3 tahun, dengan alokasi daerah serta penempatan kursi keanggotaan, yaitu: 8 Afrika, 7 Asia, 4 Eropa Timur, 5 Amerika Latin dan Indonesiatelah dua kali menjadi tempat pertemuan APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, yaitu pertemuan para pemimpin negara anggota-anggota APEC. Pertama kali di Bogor pada November 1994 dan kedua di Bali pada Oktober 2013. 4. Asian Productivity Organization ( APO ) Didirikan pada tahun 1961 dan disponsori oleh Jepang. Perdana akhirnya Menteri Kesehatan bertemu dengan Ikatan Dokter Indonesia. Dalam kunjungan Dr. Terawan selaku Menteri Kesehatan ke Ketua PB IDI Dr. Daeng M Faqih (30/10/19), ini menjadi salah satu pertemuan yang cukup dinanti.
